coffee chat

today i got asked for a coffee chat by a student in canada.

we talked about my background and work, and they asked for some general advice for people who want to go into the industry.

i’m not even in the industry yet, am i? i’m still a student as well!

being asked to talk about my work feels premature… i’m not even the person they think they’re talking to.

but i don’t know how to explain that without sounding ungrateful.
